Definitely not. You will need your family and friends around you to model for all the amazing treatments you are going to learn so you can practice as much as possible. You will probably purchase  a portable couch to work on and you will need space at home to set this up. Student flats in Dublin or Galway don’t come with a  spare room that can be turned into your beauty room at the click of a switch. It depends on the course.

Some part time courses like the nail technician course require more effort than a workshop like threading. It’s definitely something to consider as you will need to complete a workshop outside your course and show this to the CIDESCO examiner and it would be great to organise this early in the year so you don’t panic last minute.

The workshops are great to specialise in and continue your professional development. When you do apply for a job employers generally ask what additional skills you bring to the team so these workshops help you stand out from all other candidates.

Be organised. Be responsible. Pay attention. Work hard. You have invested a large amount of money and time in your course make sure you get the best possible qualification so you know every cent spent was worth it and you will reap the rewards in the future.
