Gifted graduate, Janice now works for makeup brand Urban Decay.
When I left school, I wasn’t sure which career path I wanted to take. I knew that whatever I was going to do it would have to invoke the creative side of me. I always had a huge passion for beauty and makeup, so when I researched the different options available to me makeup artistry seemed to be the perfect fit. From there I went searching for a college that would train me and push me to be my best and enable me to explore my creative side. That college was ‘The Sharon Leavy College of Hair and Beauty’, Sharon and her team were amazing and very professional and my tutor was an excellent mentor throughout the course ensuring that we are confident with all our skills that we had learned.
I graduated from the college with my ITEC Diploma in Fashion Theatre and Media Makeup I was also awarded student of the year. Since leaving the course I have gained employment with the makeup company Urban Decay. I am thoroughly grateful for my time at Sharon Leavy College and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a career within the cosmetic industry.
