Dedicated Spa Manager for the brand new Glo Spa and Wellness outlet at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate.
Audrey has forever had a taste for adventure and from a young age longed to travel, after finishing school Audrey went to Canada for two years, where she then realised her passion for all things health, wellness and beauty. Upon arrival home, Audrey realised the travel bug had not yet left and thought it best to combine her love for wellbeing and travel together.
On a mission to make her dream come true, she studied CIDESCO Beauty therapy for her international diploma, as only the highest standards would allow her to exercise and practice her skills beyond Ireland and the UK.
Swiftly after graduating as a beauty therapist of the year, Audrey gained employment with OneSpaWorld, a leading global wellness brand onboard luxury cruise liners. Her dream had come to fruition. Pre her commencement aboard, Audrey moved to London and trained as an advanced Skin and body Specialist, before setting sail aboard the Majestic Princess to South Korea with almost 6000 passengers and crew.
After just her first term, Audrey was promoted to Assistant Manager, visiting ports around the Caribbean. A fantastic experience working with many nationalities and learning numerous skills along the way and alternative techniques to further enhance her skill set.
Audrey, having already experienced the ship life wanted to develop further, so she trained in Advanced Spa Management in Miami Florida and flew to Auckland New Zealand to join her new ship, the Golden Princess as Spa manager leading a team of 25, ranging from an acupuncturist, massage/facial therapists, fitness instructors, nail technicians, hairdressers and medical aesthetic doctors specialising in Anti-wrinkle treatments.
Her passion is to make people feel the best they possibly can, to go above and beyond for each guest that comes into my Glo Spa & Wellness and ensure guest leave feeling relaxed, revived and invigorated.
Some more fun facts about Audrey, her favourite pass time is to bake she finds great peace in making sweet treats and coming up with new recipes to share with friends and family, we very much hope that includes her new team too. In terms of treatments, a facial is her go to, to give and receive. She adores when guests look in the mirror and see instant results!
Skincare is a passion of Audrey’s and she loves nothing more than learning and sharing her knowledge with guests and her team alike.
